From a faithful beginning to a growing international ministry.
Christ Exalted Church was established in April 2007 by Bishop Eric and Lady Pastor Emma Obrenyah.
The church’s first meeting place was at the Corn Market Hall in Kettering, Northamptonshire, UK. The ministry later moved to the Ise-Lodge Community Centre and then to the Melton Community Centre, where the church met for about two years.
In 2013, the ministry received a divine mandate to move from Kettering, Northamptonshire, UK, to Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, UK. There, the work entered another dimension through the demonstration of God’s power in deliverance, prophetic ministry and the manifestation of God’s glory. The church began meeting at Irchester Village Hall in 2013.
In 2018, the ministry moved into a permanent meeting place in Wellingborough Town Centre, Northamptonshire, UK.
In June 2026, the Lord led the leadership to move the headquarters of Christ Exalted Church International from the UK to Canada. The church currently meets in North York in the Greater Toronto Area, continuing its Bible-believing, Pentecostal and charismatic mandate.
